STEM Resouces for Virtual Schools
Are you looking to provide alternative provision outside of the school environment? If so, we can help!
During and since the Covid 19 pandemic we have worked together with a network of organisations (typically local government, schools, charities and universities) to deliver services and supplies to vulnerable and remote children. Approximately 35,000 children have been reached so far, with Curiosity Boxes distributed in Stoke on Trent, Blackpool, Glasgow, Oxfordshire, Hull, Bristol and Edinburgh during this period.
Our mission is to get children the resources they need to engage with education and minimise the privilege gap by sending “all in one”, seriously fun, boxes of resources and STEM (science, tech, engineering and maths) activities.

Curiosity Box have worked with several Virtual Schools around the UK, making and dispatching STEM-filled activity boxes to their pupils. Provision might be in the form of a modular monthly programme, where a new box, with a different theme and set of resources, can be sent to children at home each month, or perhaps just a one-off box. We cover a wide range of STEM subjects and curriculum learning objectives. You can choose the quantity, duration and topics that fit best with their needs.
Each box includes resources for between 3 and 6 hours of hands-on activity time for children working at KS1 and KS2 levels. Each box contains reusable kit so that children can have their own STEM resources at home.
